How to Deal with Difficult Families

During the morning program, Professor Flowers discussed the challenges that arise when working with family members and how to handle the ethical issues that emerge in these situations. Interactive polls in the presentation gave the audience an opportunity to analyze a possible real-world scenario and consider the best methods to move forward.

Fiduciary Representation

At the lunchtime program, Professor Flowers discussed how to best represent fiduciaries and navigate the possibility of dangerous ethical issues. The presentation explained what an ideal relationship looks like between attorney, fiduciary, and client, and how to start the relationship off of the right foot, noting the consequences that can result from misconduct.

Thank you to the Southwest Florida Estate Planning Council for being a partner in November’s program.

Be sure to mark your calendars for our next Distinguished Speakers Series programs on January 16, 2024, with speaker Jere Doyle, who will present on business succession.
