Our Staff

Mike Ippolito serves as the Director of Finance & Investments for the Community Foundation of Sarasota County. In this role, he leads analysis, reporting, operations and communications related to the foundation’s core investment portfolios, individually managed accounts, program related investments and agency endowments. He works closely with the Foundation’s Investment Committee, Chief Financial Officer and outside third-party investment managers.

Mike has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, with several top tier brokerage firms and banks as well as a hedge fund managing market neutral, fixed income strategies. He holds multiple designations including the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation. Mike received his bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Washington State University in Pullman, WA.

Mike and his wife, Paula, have called Sarasota home for over 25 years and have two children, one still in college. He enjoys reading, traveling, and playing tennis.
