Stephanie Borkowski

Stephanie Borkowski serves as a Community Impact Coordinator at the Community Foundation of Sarasota County. In this role, she provides administrative support throughout the Community Impact Department, including functional areas of grants, scholarships, nonprofit training and research, and special initiatives.

Before joining the team at the Community Foundation, Stephanie has experience in the nonprofit sector including Empath Tidewell Hospice, where she served as Volunteer Coordinator, ensuring compliance with the volunteer team and staffing the Tidewell Treasures store in Venice. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences and her Master's Degree in Education, with a focus on online teaching and learning, both from the University of South Florida.

Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family. Her primary interests include reading, gardening, and sports.
