Foundation for Dreams awarded $19,500 grant for scholarships

The Foundation for Dreams was recently awarded a $19,500 grant from the Community Foundation of Sarasota County to provide scholarships for 30 campers to attend the Dream Oaks Camp this summer.
The Foundation for Dreams mission is to celebrate the abilities and develop the strengths of children ages 7-17 with special needs and chronic illnesses.
“The Community Foundation of Sarasota’s generosity will allow us to continue to grow and give more children an unforgettable camp experience this summer, free of charge,” said Elena Cassella, executive director of Foundations for Dreams.
