Autumn Steiner joined the Foundation in December 2024 as a Philanthropic Advisor. In this role, she is responsible for working with individual donors to help them achieve their philanthropic goals through social impact investments in the community.

Autumn earned a BA in Professional Writing from Ohio Northern University. Originally from Ohio, she has lived in the Sarasota area since 2011. She worked in for-profit marketing and communications until experiences as an adult literacy tutor and a hospice volunteer redirected her to the nonprofit sector. She comes to the Community Foundation after nearly nine years at Humane Society of Sarasota County, most recently as the Senior Director of Philanthropy.

In her free time, Autumn enjoys reading, watching sports, and hanging out with her partner, Todd, and their “garden” of dogs: Penny Blossom, Lulu Petals, and Magnolia Bloom. Autumn is also an improviser and storyteller, occasionally gracing the stage at local theatres.
