Athena Proposal Statement
Athena Progressive Giving Circle will award up to $29,750 for a program for K-5 grade girls that promotes early learning and greater self-reliance, self-esteem and self-advocacy. Athena is seeking to fund an effective and sustainable project — existing or new, tried-and-true or innovative —that will address young girls and their budding sense of self-worth. The approach can be functional, educational or real-life experience. The approach to be funded must have a clear, measurable end product: girls with the skills to be self-confident.
