Florida Center for Early Childhood Receives Two Community Foundation Grants

The Florida Center for Early Childhood’s Starfish Academy recently received a $17,280 grant from United Way Suncoast. The center also received a $7,500 grant from the Edward K. Roberts Emerging Needs Fund of the Community Foundation of Sarasota County.

A $42,000 grant from the Leslie and Margaret Weller Fund of the Community Foundation of Sarasota County will help the Florida Center for Early Childhood launch a new school-based mental health program at Innovation Academy SRQ, a public charter school serving students from VPK through fifth grade.
